The weekend was all about decking but you can never ignore the wildlife and weather.

The swans had a successful year with a big family of 6 cygnets. The common darter dragonfly enjoyed the sunshine. The geese are getting ready to depart for winter on the nature reserve opposite. And the hot weather gave a fabulously atmospheric misty evening. Ducks had to get a mention too. 🦆

Start fishing!

Are you planning on catching up with your old mate Rod? 😉

After a three month closure, the new coarse fishing season opens today across the country, including the Broads rivers.

The close season helps protect spawning fish, and the period from 15 March to 15 June covers the period where most of our fish species spawn 🐟
