When the sun goes down…

Imagine ending a summer’s day at the hut, drink in hand, fairy lights glowing and dinner cooking outside. ✨

No plans. No noise. Just the gentle sounds of the countryside around you — birdsong and perhaps an owl calling somewhere in the distance.

Fire up the BBQ, pour yourself a glass of wine or a cold beer, and settle in for a while. There’s something wonderfully romantic about having nowhere else to be.

Our cosy Shepherd’s Hut makes a peaceful little escape for two (or a solo escape, of course), tucked away on the edge of the Peak District in beautiful Derbyshire.

One of the things we love most about living here on our peaceful Derbyshire hillside is watching the countryside change through the year — and sharing that magic with our guests.

We are open all year round, and every season brings its own unique beauty and joy.

Spring brings birdsong, fresh green hillsides and colourful wildflowers.

Summer is for long walks, warm evenings and dining outside surrounded by nature.

Autumn wraps the Peak District in golden colours, misty mornings and cosy fireside evenings.

Winter offers crisp, frosty views, starry skies and the most peaceful sense of calm.
