You can still see the original sign from when our little row of cottages was all one nursery - and I love it! I've done some digging, and have come across one or two references to Gervase Smith in old publications, but I would LOVE to find some old photos of the nurseries in their heyday.⁣

I had a *few* questions about that cute fluffy bum-bum sticking out of the drawer 🤭⁣

It's a real taxidermied mouse! I discovered recently - have my eye on lots more from her shop...... 🐱 This particular unlucky sweetie was a birthday present from my mum (thank you 😘) I have this idea to hide all sorts of trinkets and tchotchkes around the cottage for guests to come across and be delighted by 💭⁣

We picked up this antique cabinet on Facebook marketplace last week, with the intention of giving it a little glow-up. But the wood is sooooo beautiful that we're going to leave it as it is on the outside... and maybe wallpaper or gold leaf the inside... maybe add lights... and just change the door k***s... 😂

It's been a while since we had a post with faces on it!! I whizzed my two small people up to the cottage for a short stay this week, and, despite the weather, we had a lovely lazy, cosy time. Before we shut ourselves away for the night, Little Miss decided that she'd like a quick walk to see the setting sun, so that is just what we did! Even 20 minutes 'around the block' provided the most stunning views, plus that bit of extra fresh air that helped us to get a cracking nights sleep 😴😴😴
