It is easy to just enjoy a lazy day in the town sampling great cake and coffee in one of the independent cafes in town with a newspaper and a stroll around the quirky and historic narrow lanes and streets of Wirksworth. St Mary’s Church, the Star Disc and the old hidden footpaths around The Dale and Greenhill for local heritage and architecture.
