Having started as a cottage in 1740 and extended in 1908, Sheriff Lodge is now a five bedroomed bed and breakfast. All dietary needs are catered for including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. The breakfast is sublime and will set you up well for the day ahead. Each order is prepared by locally sourced produce and homemade jams, marmalade, bread and Hollandaise sauce will tempt you. ks close by as well as plenty of attractions for all ages and abilities. There are always vouchers to use for attractions such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Heights of Abraham etc. There is also a private sitting room for guest's use which provides local information, maps, brochures etc as well as magazines, books, games and is also licensed. The Lodge is in the more tranquil area of Matlock and restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. Free onsite parking with EV charger.
