Casseopia: Dream Pop & Indie Rock, what's not to love? Casseopia kick off the Main Stage at Squarefest 2026 at 2pm - expect beautiful floaty vocals from the one and only Indi Shaw and a tight backing band consisting of some of Matlocks longest standing (or sitting!!) gigging musicians
Hipper Street West: Hipper Street West is a blues-inspired three-piece band, which adds soul, rock and passion into their music, with a liberal dose of dirty rock and roll!
The Yorkshire/Derbyshire based trio consists of Jake Byrne on drums and percussion, Andy Dye on bass and Darren Morgan, bringing the writing, singing and guitar work. All draw upon their experience in Americana, Blues, Country and Soul to bring together something which stands out in the crowd. Weaving individual musical loves from the 40s to the 70s and life experiences, the songs have a classic flavour; listeners describe a feeling of ‘something real’. Jake brings musical yet powerful drums and Andy’s thundering bass is melodic. Darren’s powerful, smokey vocals draw deep from the soul, underpinned by meaty guitar riffs.
From festivals to intimate gigs, their stage presence is huge and Hipper Street West’s music is for everyone - about not being afraid to be yourself, or being confined to boxes, we play what we love as loud as we like!
