A reminder that after Preview Night the Illuminations run every weekend from the following Saturday (19th September) plus Friday 30th October, until 1st November.

Our fireworks finale nights, all of which will s e l l - o u t in advance, are every October Saturday plus Sunday 1st November.

🚨 A BIG HEADS UP - our second fireworks night of the 2026 season (Saturday 10th October) is now 95% s o l d o u t 🎆

All of our fireworks nights — every Saturday in October plus Sunday 1st November — will s e l l ‑ o u t well in advance, and there are no ticket sales on the night.

To avoid disappointment, book asap at www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/illuminations.
And remember: it’s just £1 for accompanied under‑16s throughout the season.

The 2026 Illuminations open with a Preview Night on Saturday 12th September, then we’re live every weekend from Saturday 19th September to 1st November, plus Friday 30th October 🤩

The fabulous Matlock Bath Venetian Boat Builders will be the stars of the show as always. Their decorated and illuminated boats will parade on the River Derwent at every Illuminations night, plus we will have fireworks finales every October Saturday and on Sunday 1st November 🎆

As always, our fireworks nights *will* sell out in advance, so book early to avoid disappointment 👍
