Hi to all our page followers . Our news is , we've sold The Business and great new owners are taking over . We've had 7 marvellous seasons at The Walled Garden and thank you to everyone who have stayed with us . We met some fantastic people and retire with so many memories , it truly was a special place . This is our fifth lot of Swallows this year ( not all from the same pair), not a great pic as they were hiding while mum & dad circled about so had to be quick.
We thought it was very late as normally away to hotter places by now 🤷‍♀️ possibly the milder temps...

Two Weeks Today!!

Also in our fab line up will be Rigid Soul who will be performing as a four piece with Rachel Duns on the tenor saxophone!

Rigid Soul are a Scottish power trio striving to keep the old spirits of blues, jazz and rock ‘n’ roll alive through their modern eclectic sound.

The now definitive line up - Kyle Hood (guitar/vocals), L. Brown (bass) and Lewis Ross (drums) - formed in 2018. The band has since played relentlessly around Glasgow/Scottish venues focusing on building their live repertoire and original material.

Some highlight shows to date include support slots with Zal Cleminson of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Kyle Falconer of The View and in 2023 performing at the Isle of Arran’s Rock ‘n’ Blues Festival and Eden Festival.

In 2024, the trio released three singles and set out on some new ventures, including a performance at the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival and their first gigs outside of Scotland – notably Cambridge Rock festival in September.

2025 so far has seen the release of the single, This Or That, in February before their debut album launched on 30th May. The album release
coincided with a launch gig at Room 2, Glasgow – the band’s biggest headline show to date!!

We can't we wait to welcome you and all the performers to the DFOTS '25 music tent!!!

Come along to Deer Park and meet Lucy, Dotty, and the rest of the gang! Help the Rangers with feeding and learn more about our resident deer herd and llamas.

📅 Date: Every Monday over the summer holidays - 14th July, 21st July, 4th August, 11th August, 18th August, 25th August.
🕕 Time: Feeding starts at 11am.
📌 Meeting point: Deer Park (opposite the car park).
👫 Age: All welcome.
💸 Price: Free (standard admission prices apply)
