Previously a working farm, Marion & Richard have worked hard to provide a place to relax and recharge with something for all the family. ay with glorious sunsets in the evenings to sit out and watch the stars come out. On arrival you'll be greeted by your host and shown around the property and pool area. Arriving late? no problem, we live on site or keys can be left in a safe-box for you to collect. As you step inside and hang your coat your eyes are drawn to the high beamed ceiling and large picture window offering inviting views of the valley beyond. You enter the large open plan living area with plenty of comfy seats and large French doors that open out onto a raised decking area ideal for some al fresco dining. There’s also a wood burning stove for those cooler evenings when you just want to cwtch up with a blanket. At the opposite end of the living space is a fully equipped kitchen area,
beyond the kitchen and down a short corridor you will find the master bedroom with family bathroom next door. Upstairs is located the 2nd bedroom with twin beds with a door leading to the mezzanine that overlooks the living area. The mezzanine has a comfy day bed which can be converted into two single beds as required. Also upstairs and new for 2021, we've taken a corner of the twin room and created a second WC for added convenience. Step out of the french doors onto a raised decking area complete with table and chairs. From here are steps that lead down to a large lawned area complete with BBQ and picnic table (from April onwards) for you to enjoy a meal with a glass of your favourite while watching the sun go down. Just across the way from the barn is our indoor pool complex that includes hot tub and sauna. Complete with changing rooms and showers, it’s the perfect space to unwind at the end of the day, or for some family fun when faced with a rainy day (which we have been known to have on occasion in Wales). From the poolside, large open doors lead out onto a seating area with fantastic views along the valley, perfect for even more relaxation. By agreement you can have private use of the complex during your stay. Llangarthginning Farm (don't worry about the pronunciation) includes three residential properties and The Barn. The village of Meidrim is just a mile from The Barn and has a friendly local pub, park, chapel & church and community centre. Just a few miles further away is the village of St Clears which has all you'd expect in the way of small supermarkets, pubs, takeaways and shops. From here you're straight onto the main routes to explore West Wales, whether it's the beaches at Pendine and Amroth or the fun and activity of places like Bluestone, Folly Farm and Oakwood, they're all easy to reach for a great day out. The nearest town, Carmarthen is just a short drive away and where you'll find a fantastic indoor market and a town centre full of character, individual shops and restaurants.
