Another week. Another full diary. 🔥

We’re incredibly grateful to be working at high capacity every day now supporting events across the UK and Ireland and the diary only gets busier throughout the summer

From large-scale exhibition centres and corporate events to comedy shows and school and university events, it’s always lovely to see so many successful events come together.

Its great to answer the phone to hear someone new say - you've been recommended but we've been let down before so we are nervous

Then a few weeks later to get the after party message come through ' ”Morning - wow what a night! Really appreciate all your work making that happen! We did it Thank you so much ☺️“'

🚧✨ Finally, the wait is over! ✨🚧

This weekend marks the official opening of the brand-new Pork Pie Way bypass — a huge milestone for our local community after many years in the making.

BE Event Hire were proud to provide the furniture for the special naming ceremony and celebration event, helping bring together local leaders, guests, and the community for such an important occasion.

As a Melton-based business, it’s fantastic to see investment and progress happening right here in our region, and we’re honoured to have played a small part in this historic moment.

We’ve recently welcomed a few new team members to BE Event Hire, so when one of our experienced drivers rang the office after spotting one of our vans all alone on the brand-new (and still closed!) road, he thought perhaps one of the new drivers had taken a wrong turn! 🚐😂

Thankfully not — it was actually our team delivering the furniture for the official event!

Congratulations to everyone involved in making Pork Pie Way a reality, and we hope everyone enjoys using the new bypass from this weekend onwards 👏

Another election day, another successful setup for the BE Event Hire team.

As with every election, we’ve been busy delivering and setting up multiple election counting stations ready for the 7th May Local Elections locally and way outside our local area.

From full hall layouts to just providing tables, chairs, stage and screens our experienced team ensures each venue is prepared for a smooth and efficient count.

Election counts are always a huge operation for all concerned, and we’re proud to continue supporting local authorities with reliable, professional event set up every time the country heads to the polls for whatever reason.

A big thank you to our fantastic crew for another seamless setup delivered to the highest standard and with boundless energy !

Event Hire companies have definite seasons and at present it is a quieter period for us, yet the heat is rising - getting ready for the busy summer season.
So it seemed a good time now, just before Easter and our season beginning - for a team evening out , so we hired the venue and karting track for ourselves and let the carnage roll out.
27 of our team joined in.

We have a team who are very competitive and motorsport orientated already with a variety of variations on the theme with people already racing in championships in karting, track motorcycles, off road motorcycles, stockcar racing through the season etc so it seemed a good choice.

There were a few unexpected places bagged.

Everyone seemed to have a really good time and had lots of fun together - so that is the main thing 🤩

New Trailers arriving to increase our capacity even more this year due to demand. Last year we ran out of vehicles several times before running out of kit.
Although this year we are already fully booked up for our 1500 picnic benches for two weeks during the summer so its looking like we are going to have a very busy season.
We are spending most of our this winter at the national indoor arenas and venues

The Pie Awards 2026 .

Being based in Melton Mowbray we provide for the full series of the Rural Capital of Food events - these National Pie Awards kick off the season and it was the largest one to date.

We provide the furniture for displaying all the pies and all the cater hire hire items for the lunch.

Many thanks for our staff members who stayed late last night to collect and deal with all the 174 full covers of place settings from the lunch that is held after the judging.
