It’s difficult to sum up just how busy the last few weeks have been at BE Event Hire.
We’ve had furniture and equipment heading to every kind of event and venues, from weddings, festivals , exhibitions , conventions and corporate events to hotels, political events and some of the major sporting events taking place around the country.
This week alone our deliveries have taken us across England, Wales and Scotland, with furniture heading to MotoGP at Silverstone this weekend, and preparations well underway for the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
That comes straight off the back of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, alongside all the other events and venues we’ve been supplying at the same time.
Some orders have been in the diary for months. Others have come our way at the very last minute — plans change, numbers increase, venues suddenly need additional stock and occasionally we get a call for a substantial order with a need for an immediate turn around. Political events in particular do seem to have a habit of appearing in the diary at very short notice!
Where we have the stock and can make the logistics work, we’ll always do our very best to help and we thank all our team who make it work.
One of the things we enjoy most is the variety. National events and venues one day, a wedding, festival, hotel, corporate or political event the next — and many of them at once.
It’s certainly keeping the warehouse busy and putting plenty of miles on the ever increasing number of vehicles, but it’s great to see so much of our stock out there being used.
And August is only just getting started.
