Badgells Wood Camping Badgells Wood is an off-grid camping experience in unspoilt ancient woodland...bring your children and let them run wild!
(430)

Campfires, dog-friendly and secluded pitches under the trees. We're rustic but with just enough creature comforts like hot running water, showers and a shop for those essentials. If you need more entertainment than playing in the woods, there's bushcraft courses and walks to local pubs or the farm shop for locally reared meat.

As the nights draw in and spooky season approaches, we thought, how much fun would it be to watch the scariest-of-scary-movies in amongst the shadowy trees and cobwebs?!

Which film would you like to watch? Blood-curdling or jump-scare?! Suggestions welcome.

(And, just to reiterate, this is not one for small children or the faint-hearted - we've got all the family-friendly Halloween celebrations all sewn up on Saturday 24th October!)

🤫 Shhh....don't tell everyone! October at Badgells Wood - the woods are yours 🍂

The crowds have gone, the leaves are turning, and most nights it’ll be just you, the trees and the owls.

If you don’t mind a chill in the air, you’ll get autumn colour, crackling campfires, dark skies and real silence, with nobody for miles.

Bring the wool socks and come and have the woods to yourself.

(Single night bookings also available on selected weekends.)

The forecast is looking dry and sunny this weekend...the perfect opportunity to grab a short autumn campfire fix with a single-night booking (canine companion optional! 🦮)

🍂 Happy Autumn Equinox!

Tonight, day and night stand in perfect balance - and there's nowhere better to mark it than around the fire at Badgells Wood.

As the nights draw in, huddle around the flames and look up between the trees - you'll catch stars that summer's short nights never let us see. The smell of the campfire and crisp autumn air...this is what the season's made for.

Who's joining us around the fire? 🔥✨

There's no need to leave your four-legged (VIP!) family members at home when you camp with us - we are (FRIENDLY!) dog-friendly! 🐕🐩🐶

Your furry campers must just pass the 'tummy-tickle' test...we're pleased to report that this gorgeous pair passed with flying colours! 🥰

(Your dogs should be on a lead when not in the vicinity of your pitch and we ask that you clean up after them (poo bags and bins provided). Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in our pre-erected Bell Tents.)
