2020 just keeps on throwing punches!
As you may be aware we have been closely monitoring the situation with Covid 19 and following guidance from the government. We've been very flattered that our amazing customers have continued to visit, to get that release we all so desperately need at the moment and to enjoy our fine trails.
However, given that riders come from across the UK to ride we feel we have a role to play in the fight against this disease. Therefore we will be suspending the operation of our uplift facility effective from Saturday 21st March until further notice. We are devastated to have to make this decision but these extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures and we have to play our part.
Like so many small businesses at the moment things are going to get very, very tough in the coming weeks and months but we are ready for the fight and will NOT give up. We will be back better than ever when this is all over and we look forward to throwing one hell of a party and everyone is invited!
Now for the good news: We plan to stay open as a pedal only venue as long as we are able to and it is safe to do so. We all know that exercise and fresh air is going to be important in the coming months and we hope to be able to keep offering a great experience for some time yet. We have 2,000 acres of beautiful forest with more than 40 trails to enjoy, there is plenty of space for social distancing! We will be closing our visitor centre and will have a zero contact process in place to collect trail passes from the front of the building to minimise risk. Every visit from every customer will make a difference.
Another way you can show your support is by agreeing to move any bookings you may have to another date rather than requesting a refund. If you send a message to [email protected] our team will work through moving your booking or refunding you if required. Please bear with us though as we will have a huge number of bookings to work through.
Riders will no doubt be out enjoying trails across the country for some time yet, when riding both at BikePark Wales and elsewhere, take it easy. We will continue to have first aid cover at the park at all times but let's try not to put any more pressure on the NHS.
Take it easy everyone, it's going to be a rough ride but we look forward to enjoying laps with you on the trails soon
