Very happy to say that our little oil lamp is back in it's rightful home...Thank you for doing the decent thing and returning it to us. We won't be checking CCTV as we really don't want to find out who it was as we genuinely think the world of everyone around here and we're just going to put it down to high jinx after a couple of pints...

Not a post I want to write but can the people who took our little oil lamp from table 10 on it's unplanned ' holiday' please return it? It went missing on Sunday the 22nd after lunch service. We haven't been through CCTV yet, so to save us the time and to save the embarrassment of us finding out who it was , we ask that you discretely drop it on the side porch or by the pizza oven when we're closed. Or, we're happy for you to post it. Return it and we'll say no more about it. These are things that we've personally collected over the years and paid for out of our own pockets. It's upsetting that someone would steal from us, we're not Weatherspoon's (I don't condine any theft to be clear, but I know Weatherspoons suffer from the light fingered).You have a week. Thank you
