We have officially handed over the keys to Valiant Pub co who have bought Richard III. Good luck to the new owners and to Vik McWilliams Gwc who will be running the pub for them . Thank you for supporting us over the past 12 years - it's been a blast - now it's a little tamer running the tea room - Castle Keep Tea Room ... We will be there if you want to pop and see us - thank you again Sharon and Ken xx

Sunday 2nd March will be our last day serving food in Richard 111... We have a darts knockout on the same evening and anything we have left we will be putting out for supper free of charge ... 12 years at Richard III has been amazing - we have made some long lasting friends and look forward to seeing you around middleham or at the tea room ###

Hi everyone - I am out of the picture at present after my second knee replacement but would just like to remind you that our leaving party is on Saturday 15th march... The end of our twelve year reign of Richard III... We have loved our time here and met some amazing people that have become life long friends. We will continue to work and live in Middleham at Castle Keep Tea Room so hope to see you there. Thank you to all our customers for your support over the years and we look forward to the next chapter... Xx

Wishing all our customers far and wide a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The last one in the pub for us as our lease ends in march and the pub has been sold. We would like to Thank each and Everyone of you for your support and Loyalty over the last twelve Years - we will miss you but you never know as one door closes another one opens .....
