No colourful flowers here… but plenty of new life!
Out on the fell, we were on our annual check at one of the (probably toads) spawning spots - these clusters are already well ahead, with tiny tadpoles wriggling away. Many others (not in the photo) won’t be far behind.

A quiet but unmistakable sign of spring🌱, just in time for Easter.😊

The dining table and chairs are by Ercol, one of Britain’s most iconic mid-century furniture manufacturers. Carefully chosen for the cottage, they rest nicely on the original 17th-century slate floor and beneath the time-worn beams, blending heritage with timeless design.

These chares are very comfortable to sit on too - perfect for a relaxing evening by the wood burning stove with a glass of wine.
