Stunning 2 bed lodge with hot tub and dog friendly

Set in a beautiful location in the Western Lake District this modern 2 bedroom lodge comes with a hot tub and is dog friendly. Port Haverigg is a true gem and boasts not only natural beauty but also excellent water sport facilities and outdoor persuits. Our fresh water lake is not only stunning but the only Lake in the Lake District with NO speed limits meaning this is a water sport enthusiasts dream come true.

The small village of HAVERIGG is a short stroll away where you will find a small beach with miles of sand, dunes and gorgeous coastline

As with most places in Cumbria we are dog friendly and have some fantastic walks and scenery as well as the beach. Your pets are also allowed into both the SKI BAR and HENDRICKS RESTAURANT. Both of these also have outdoor seating area’s should you just fancy a nice drink.

There is a Ski School on site for the adventurous ones which provides all the neccessary equipment for your fun and enjoyment.

The locality of the park is aoprox 1 mile from the town of MILLOM which is small but has all you need : bank , supermarket, petrol station, take away food, fish & chips, pubs and some lovely little shops.

We also have an amazing Nature Reserve which is well worth exploring with many bird species.

Within 35 minutes we have the ‘infamous’ Lake Coniston where a world record attempt by Donald Campbell went fatally wrong. However, this is well worth a visit to see the steam trains, aquarium and take a boat ride on the lake. There is some lovely pubs doing great home made food and quirky little shops to explore. The very popular and more busy Lake Windermere is a one hour drive as well as the stunning town of Ambleside.

With fantastic walks, water sports and many other outdoor adventures PORT HAVERIGG can offer the adventure you want or alternatively be the quiet retreat you need. We are far enough away to be relaxing or close enough to help you have some adventures.
