!!!PLEASE NOTE THAT TODAY'S LENT LUNCH IS CANCELLED.!!

With the funeral today of a much loved Cissi Fraser, and knowing many of you will be attending, it was deemed appropriate to cancel our lunch for today, Friday 20th March 2026.

The final Lent lunch will be next Friday 27th.

A note to remind everyone that Ash Wednesday is this Wednesday 18th February and there is a Eucharist at 11am in the LADY CHAPEL in the Cathedral to which you are all invited. This will be followed by a simple Lent Lunch of soup and bread. Contributions at the Lent Lunches this year will go as usually towards the Bishop’s Lent Appeal.

From the following week the Lent Lunches will be held every Friday in Lent starting at 11.30am with a short time of prayer and a shared meditation together.

Ferries currently suspended for those considering coming over from mainland!
But recital IS going ahead!!

UPDATE:
Luckily Mark made it over to Cumbrae just before the ferries went off today. So he WILL be performing tomorrow afternoon at the Cathedral for all who are on the island and will brave the stormy weather to enjoy the beautiful music!

We are delighted to confirm that Mark Viner is returning to the Cathedral tomorrow Sunday 14 December for a beautiful Recital of delightful Christmas themed music.
Prompt start 3pm. Come early to secure your seat. Retiring collection.

All are welcome to our Choral Evensong by the Cathedral Choir which ends our tremendous season of music concerts here at the cathedral. 3:30pm Saturday 25th. We hope to see you there. 🙏🏻
