Shoot Report
30th August 2026
I’ve put up some short reports but this one is has to be the shortest. We had some rain the day before which was welcome but today was dry and sunny, attendance was a bit down from the norm’ so most folk had finished shooting by 11.45. Yet once again I didn’t get to check out the shoot for myself neither did I speak to anyone after they had finished shooting, as for the scores; haven’t a clue, I just hope you all enjoyed yourselves. A bit lacking in the picture department as our resident photo snapper has gone on holiday. Anyway I hope you all had fun and managed to smash lots of clays and we will see you back here on the 13th September, until then take care, TC.

Shoot Report
16th August 2026
Let’s start with the weather, bright and sunny but slightly overcast just right to go blasting clays out of the sky. All this sunshine and lack of rain has changed Darren’s lovely mown grass in to something that resembles a dessert, shame. Back to the shoot, Darren had kept the layout basely the same as last time but moved them (not all) closer to the shooting points which did tend to catch a few shooters out, they were tending to over lead them. Don’t forget to check out the flight line before you pull that trigger. Mind you there were some pretty good scores put in so most of you were getting it right. Top card I saw was 68 followed by a few 64s I would say the average score was around 50 to 60 mark but if your fairly new to LFCC then 35 to 40 should have put you in a happy place. Darren did mention there was a good chance that the Sports Trap will be back on soon so keep an eye on this page for further updates. The Club House is becoming a popular place to meet and have a snack; Jamie would like to thank all of you that are supporting it. Once again big thanks to Simon.S for taking pic’s of you guys. Shoot Report
2nd August 2026
Not much to report on this morning’s shoot as I didn’t get a chance to check it out and only chatted with a few shooters after they had finished. As for the scores, well the few shooters I spoke to were all in the mid 50s and said there wasn’t anything out there that was too testing and they should have done better, any way they had fun missing as well as hitting clays. It was good to see more and more folk are using the club house for something to eat and drink as well as having an after shoot chin-wag. Simon.S was back taking pic’s, cheers mate. Shoot Report
19th July 2026
Another brilliant morning, sun shining, blue sky with some white puffy clouds a slight wind which did tend to knock the clays around now and again but at least it kept us cool. Darren had rearranged the layouts and targets, they weren’t difficult but you still had to think about your pick up and breaking points. Once again it was a good turn out with quite a few new faces which was nice to see, don’t forget non-members are always welcome. More and more folk are discovering that we do have a club house and it serves food and drinks, Jamie and Tim have even set up some more tables and chairs outside so you can sit in the fresh air while chomping on your bacon bap. Big thanks to Graham.L for taking pic’s of you guy’s having fun. Next shoot is on the 2nd August, hope to see you all back here then.TC
