Westerclose House Cottages are situated in the heart of Exmoor National Park, on the edge of the unspoilt village of Withypool with wonderful far-reaching views over the River Barle valley and surrounding moorland. Westerclose is set in its own grounds in a stunningly beautiful and tranquil location, yet is within a short walking distance (300 yards) of the excellent Royal Oak pub and village shop

. We have four self-catering cottages and an apartment in a courtyard setting (sleep 1–6 people), all comfortably furnished with everything you need for a well-deserved and relaxing break. The apartment is within Westerclose House, with its own private entrance and enjoying panoramic views. All the properties have WiFi internet access. Children and well behaved dogs are welcome! For those who want to bring their own horse, we have 3 large stables and turnout paddocks close to the cottages available on a DIY livery basis. You will be assured of a warm welcome at Westerclose and with fabulous walking and riding direct from your door and a host of other activities to enjoy, Westerclose is an ideal base for exploring Exmoor and the spectacular North Devon coast. Detached cottage with sitting room, dining area, kitchen, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Sitting rom has a log burning stove, TV, DVD and French windows out into a private garden. Kitchen includes electric cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. NETHERGATE COTTAGE (Sleeps up to 3)
Semi-detached single storey cottage with sitting room, dining area and kitchen, 1 double and 1 single bedroom (single is off the sitting room) and 1 bathroom. Kitchen includes electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. STABLE COTTAGE (Sleeps up to 2)
Semi-detached single storey cottage with sitting/dining room and kitchen, 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom. HEATHER VIEW (Sleeps up to 2)
Self-contained, centrally heated apartment within Westerclose House with its own private external access. One double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, kitchen and spacious sitting room.

They are an amazing charity supporting people with disabilities, giving them opportunities to get involved in really challenging outdoor activities, showing us all that it's what you can do that counts!
