It's with great sadness I have to tell you, we will be closing our doors for the very last time at the end of this year. I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for your support, love and kindness you have shown me.
I have been very fortunate in running these wonderful apartments for 11 years! There have been tears and laughter as well as sad and difficult times, but it's been worth every moment.
I would also like to thank all my wonderful staff for all their hard work and dedication, together with their continuous support; especially Carol - I couldn't have done it without them.
I'm going to miss them all so much!
I also wish to thank the trustees for giving me this wonderful opportunity - my dream came true.
Sadly I will no longer be living in Minehead once my job ends. I'm going to go back to my home in Wiltshire where I can be with my family and most of all my 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, who I miss so much.
If you wish to take a holiday for the last time, we're here till the end of October and would love to see you. You'll have the same great service and cleanliness you've always had!

We had another eat Minehead food festival very busy lots o food there was various entertainment plus a traditional punch and Judy show such fun.

Bank holiday special due to cancellation we have 2 beautiful apartments available for bank holiday. A 1 bedroom apartment for 3 people. Downstairs stairs there is an open plan lounge diner and kitchen with stairs leading to a very large bedroom with a double and single bed a brand new bathroom with a double shower enclosure Friday to Monday £375 or Tuesday to Saturday £350 or Saturday to Saturday £525 was £675. Or we have a 6 person apartment this has 2 bedrooms 2 toilets it has a separate new kitchen and lounge a brand new bathroom with double shower enclosure  beautifully decorated some new carpet, there are 2 bedrooms one family with a king and 2 singles and a twin bed this apartment has sea views and a door which has direct access to the garden you can bring your dog for a little extra in this apartment, this one is £450 Saturday to Tuesday or Tuesday to saturday £425 or for the week £655 was £805. Still looking for an affordable holiday? I thought I would start to show you some of the places you could visit when you stay here with us at the Baptist Holiday Apartments. What a beautiful day out and all by bus for just £4.00 return. My starting point Minehead...heading to Ilfracombe on one of our country's most scenic bus the routes. We will be heading to the pretty village of Porlock, where the semi open top bus will climb one of the steepest hill in Britain - it's a bit hairy at times, but when you reach the top it's well worth it! The bus will take you over the exmoor hills and through Lorna Doone countryside. Look out for the smallest listed building in the country on the left hand side of the bus, it's a small hut 🛖 or maybe you'll spot some exmoor ponies. Next, look out for a pretty little church on Countisbury Hill to the right with the Blue Ball Inn on the left...they serve fabulous food there! Next we travel through Lynmouth and Lynton (two of my favourite places to look around) however I'll stop there on another trip, but not today. We'll then head towards Woody Bay where there's a miniature gauge railway. After this we head into the beautiful open countryside. Next you'll want to look out for the Dinosaur and Wildlife Park  on the left of the bus, just outside Combe Martin. Then through the longest continuous street which stretches for a whopping 2 miles. Nearly there now, passing through Hele bay on the right with it's pretty little pebble beach. Then on into Ilfracombe. What's there you may ask? It's a pretty fishing village with a statue called Verity by  Damien Hirst - she stands tall and is like a goddess. There is an aquarium although very small and there's St. Nicholas's Church high on the hill which is well worth a visit although you'll have to be fit to get up there though. The Beaches tunnels are beautiful but you'll have to pay a little to go on them. Back in the victorian times there was a mens beach and a ladies beach fortunately anyone can go on them these days. You'll be able to choose one of many boat trips on offer at the quayside. I went on a 2 hour one a few years ago and the crew were very knowledgeable and made it very interesting. You will also find a theatre, very pretty walks, a beach all but stoney but very beautiful in its own way, you'll also find many shops bars restaurants, the list goes on and on. Hi everyone look we've been very busy doing Hurlestone our smallest apartment, it's gone from a granny bathroom to a fabulous bathroom. Patrick our maintenance guy has put a new double shower enclosure in, Carol and I did the rest, i'm not going to lie it's fabulous but took a lot of hard work 2 weeks scraping, sanding, filling, fixing, painting it's as good as we can get it. It's a beautiful apartment just right for 2/3 people.
