A massive thank you to our local fire station for everything they do, we've seen them working tirelessly the last few days keeping the fire under control!

Whilst we weren't affected by the fire, these photos show how much damage can be done by out of control fires particularly in conditions like we had on Monday (very dry and windy). It also highlights, in a very real way, why we implement fire bans at certain times (and why it's so important to respect the bans!)

This little robin isn't deterred by campers! We spot lots of birds up here on North Hill and the robins tend to be the bravest of the bunch!
