We are lucky at The Swanky Farmhouse to have English Bluebells in our garden which transform the boarders into a delicate sea of blue. Do you know almost half the world’s bluebells are found in the UK and they are relatively rare elsewhere.
It’s against the law to intentionally pick, uproot or destroy Bluebells indeed they have held a treasured place in the hearts of British people for centuries and have been an inspiration to poets and writers such as Oscar Wilde, Emily and Anne Brontë, Gerard Manley Hopkins and Percy Bysshe Shelley.
