A sad Facebook post we were not wanting to write.
Earlier in the week we said goodbye to the leader of the alpaca gang and guest favourite, Bracken.
He peacefully passed away at the grand old age of 20 and it goes without saying we’ll miss him.
We’ve been keeping a close eye on things and, as expected, Ted has now taken charge and things have settled down. x

Major worry and panic this morning at Perry Pear Cottage.
Mop, the alpaca, appeared to have a head injury.
On closer inspection he’d just wiped his head on a blackberry.

The weather for the next couple of days is forecasted to be extremely hot, but luckily the museum is a cool oasis this time of year!
