⭐ Local attraction review - Porth Wen Brickworks ⭐

If you're staying with us and fancy exploring somewhere a little off the beaten track, we highly recommend a visit to Porth Wen Brickworks – it's only around a 20-minute drive from our holiday home.

This hidden gem is one of our favourite places to visit. The walk down to the old brickworks is full of character, and once you arrive you'll be rewarded with stunning coastal scenery, fascinating industrial history, and incredible views. It's a fantastic spot for a peaceful walk and some amazing photos.

We've even been lucky enough to spot seals here on a few of our visits, which always makes the trip extra special! 🦭

If you enjoy beautiful coastal walks, hidden places, and a bit of local history, Porth Wen Brickworks is definitely worth adding to your North Anglesey itinerary. Just remember to wear suitable footwear, as the path can be uneven in places.

⭐ Local Attraction Review - Penmon Point⭐

Looking for a memorable day out during your stay? We highly recommend a visit to Penmon Point Lighthouse — just around 35 minutes from our property and one of the most beautiful coastal spots in North Wales.

With stunning sea views, a rugged shoreline, and the iconic lighthouse set against the backdrop of Snowdonia, it’s the perfect place for a relaxing walk, photography, or simply soaking up the scenery. Keep an eye out for seals, which are often spotted along the coastline and around Puffin Island!

There’s also a lovely café nearby with an extensive burger, pizza, and milkshake menu, making it a fantastic stop for lunch or a sweet treat after exploring the area. Whether you’re visiting for nature, coastal walks, or a peaceful escape, Penmon Point is a must-see during your stay. 🌊📸🍔
