This little village is famous for its incredible recording studios which was the primary studios used by Queen for recording ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and has played host to greats including Oasis, Coldplay, and the legendary Tom Jones. Rockfield is located beside the River Monnow which is fantastic for fishing and nature walks and being set in an abundance of wildlife making our Glampsite the perfect p

lace to relax and unwind. For golf lovers, less than 10 minutes away is The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club, with its championship 6,733-yard golf course. The course also features The Mansion, the former home of Charles Stewart Rolls, co-founder of the famous Rolls-Royce company. Our setting is second to none with amazing views of the Monnow Valley. Each glamping area provides a spacious tent with seating, BBQ area and private wash facilities, ensuring you’ll have everything you need to enjoy your stay. At Rockfield Glamping, we’re very excited to be working with a number of fantastic local family businesses including Oldfield Forge, Tasty Trays & Dream Capture photography to ensure that your holiday is full of treasured memories that you cherish forever.

We are so excited to celebrate the Wye Valley River Festival this Saturday, 2nd May! 🌊✨ From incredible floating puppets to the vibrant "Monmouth Mischief" parade, our valley is about to be filled with magic and merriment.
Planning to join the festivities? We are just a 5-minute drive from the heart of the action in Monmouth, making us the perfect base to unwind after a day of riverside fun! 🏕️🐑
📅 What’s on Saturday, 2nd May:
📍 11:30 AM: Catch the vibrant procession down Monmouth High Street.
📍 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Head to Drybridge Park (just off Rockfield Road!) for live music, food, and creative workshops. 🎨🎶
