A little glimpse into life on camp 🌿

There’s something really special about slowing down here… Waking up to birdsong, children building dens in the woods, muddy boots, campfires crackling, and starry skies that make you stop and look up ✨

We’re a small, rustic, off-grid campsite on our family farm in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside. Think big spacious pitches, room for kids to roam, woodland adventures, fire pits, peace and quiet, and proper switch-off-from-the-world kind of camping.

No packed rows of tents. No loud entertainment. Just nature, space and simple memories ❤️

After a very serious inspection of all dens built last weekend, Chester has made his decision… 👀

🏆 THIS was the winner.

Apparently, excellent stick placement, maximum adventure potential and easy toddler access were key judging criteria 😆🌿

Honestly though… this is exactly what camp is all about ❤️
Hours of imagination, teamwork, muddy boots and not a screen in sight. Just kids being kids in the woods.

In just two weekends, a whopping 70% of our guests have been returning campers with us 🤯✨

To say we’re blown away would be an understatement.

When we created Red Sky at Night, we simply hoped to build something peaceful, simple and special for families — somewhere children could run free, fires could crackle, and people could properly switch off.

To see so many of you choosing to come back again and again means more than we can put into words ❤️

Thank you for supporting our little family-run campsite, for recommending us, for coming back, and for helping create such a lovely atmosphere on camp.

We’re feeling very lucky (and a little emotional if we’re honest 🥹)

Well this is exciting… we’ve already started getting bookings and enquiries for the season — and it’s very early for us!

As always, we’re quietly working on a few new bits for the season ahead — including a little woodland trail in the making, some new on-site treats, and one or two ideas we’re hoping families will enjoy 🤞🏼
