A Taste of Autumn 🍂

Local Comice pear takes centre stage in one of our autumn desserts, accompanied by yoghurt biscuit crumb, iced pine powder and buttermilk ice cream.

The gentle sweetness of pear, the freshness of pine and the delicate tang of buttermilk bring together the flavours of orchard and woodland.

A quiet corner of The Whitebrook.

Our garden sits on the edge of the woodland, where cultivated plants & our orchard gradually give way to the wild landscape of the Wye Valley.

It’s a place to grow, gather, observe and sometimes simply sit.

The landscape around us is constantly changing — and much of what begins here eventually finds its way into the kitchen.
