Last-minute summer escape at Bracken Hill Lodge!

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to book a spontaneous getaway… Muffin and Flapjack are enthusiastically waiting to make new friends at this cosy countryside cottage.

We’ve had a couple of unexpected gaps in the calendar, so if you fancy sneaking in a cheeky break:

Sleeps up to 6 adults + extra bed + cot and up to 4 dogs

Perfect for a slow summer wander, morning coffees in the sunshine, and evenings that smell like barbecues and warm grass, and stunning sunsets. Come and stay, unwind, and pretend you live here for a bit — we won’t tell!

1. Comfortable and well presented cottage in a lovely peaceful location -would return

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was clean, comfortable but also practical (hard floors throughout, all on one level). The setting is lovely, with a great view across a valley to fields and woods. The paddock in front of the cottage is securely fenced so we could be confident letting our dogs go out there freely. We really enjoyed how peaceful the place was - it's amazing to stand outside and hear nothing but the wind blowing. We would happily return.

2. "Absolutely wonderful holiday, the Lodge was excellent everything to use,extremely clean. Beautiful scenery and lovely owners .highly recommend. Hope to be back soon"
