The Riverside Hotel Bar, Monmouth will begin a staged opening starting Thursday 16th April! 🍻

We’ll be open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays – come along, see the changes, and have a drink 🥃

We can’t wait to welcome you back and get the bar buzzing once more!

Sorry we have not been on here much
As you know In the early hours of Saturday, 15th November, Monmouth awoke to devastating floodwaters that swept through parts of the town with alarming speed and force. Among the hardest hit was our selfs the riverside hotel , where the entire ground floor was submerged beneath around four feet of water and in some places even higher and our cellar was completely flooded out and nothing was savable
The flooding caused extensive damage throughout the building including our 2 outside bedrooms, we have lost everything from our bedroom furniture ,function room furniture too all our kitchen equipment
Our staff have been trying hard to clean up for the last two weeks and are slowly making progress.
Sadly though our insurance will not pay out and we need all the help we can get to get the hotel back up and running again to cater for all our locals, functions and guests
We have attached the link to our go fund me page if anyone would like to donate, no matter how small every penny means a lot to us to try and get the business back up and running again

Once again today we have had a busy day cleaning up
We couldn’t do it without volunteers
Big thank you to Mike Farr Steve and Matt porter james Howells and Wayne Meredith 
We was not looking forward to cleaning the cellar out but we did it and took up the restaurant floor
Fair play to you all
Also thank you to everyone who helped with leading us things to get the job done

We would like to say a big thank you to the fire brigade for all there help and Monmouth Council for helping us get rid of all we have lost
Also a big thank you to Matt and Steve porter for helping today

We have a big favour to ask, does any one have a wet vac and long electric extension cable that we can borrow please ??

All guests have been contacted. Please avoid the riverside area and follow local safety advice.
