👨🍳 HEAD CHEF WANTED – THE KINGS ARMS INN, MONTACUTE
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our busy independent pub, restaurant and hotel in the beautiful village of Montacute, Somerset.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in producing fresh, seasonal food, enjoys working with quality local ingredients and is keen to continue developing the food offering at The Kings Arms Inn.
The position:
💷 £40,000–£45,000 per year, depending on experience
💰 Plus tips, paid monthly
🏖️ 28 days paid holiday
📅 5 days out of 7
🍽️ Weekend and Bank Holiday working required
⭐ AA Rosette experience preferred, but not essential
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, leading and developing the kitchen team, menu development, stock and cost control, food safety and ensuring consistency across every service.
We’d particularly like to hear from chefs with experience in fresh-food pubs, restaurants or hotels who are comfortable combining well-executed pub classics with more refined, seasonal dishes.
