The milder weather has brought the frogs to the pond to mate. The newts are active too… munching on the frogspawn! Only time will tell if any of these make it to froglets. Either way, I am happy our ponds support both frogs and newts. Toads too but I haven’t seen them yet. Spring has sprung!

I managed to catch the full Worm Moon during the night. She was hidden behind a curtain of clouds in the evening but did her best to illuminate the land when they parted in the early hours. Always there even when hidden. Always reminding us to shine bright when the time is right.

Someone once said to me that they never put their laundry outside to dry because it was a primitive thing to do. I will never forget that! Or understand it, for that matter! To me, the scent of linen fresh from the line is the best thing ever. So grateful for two recent days of wind and sunshine to dry bedlinen. The first of the year.
