We saw an otter along the shoreline at high tide 3 times last week! Here's a photo of it running through the sea aster towards some unsuspecting redshank. ๐ฆฆ
We'll be keeping our eyes on the shoreline this week in the hopes that we spot it again.

EDIT: To all those in the comments expressing concern that this is in fact an invasive mink and not an otter, don't worry - it's not! It IS an otter. ๐ฆฆ
This photo was zoomed in on quite a bit, and the colours are a bit odd making the otter look darker than usual. It was also just in the water, so darker because it's wet.
We've now seen between one and three otters in front of the centre most days this past week, and we've been in touch with Scottish Invasive Species Initiative who have confirmed it's indeed an otter in the photo. Just a weird angle and lighting!
