What a gorgeous experience at the new Salty Bean Coffee House! So good to have great coffee and delicious food in the West End of Morecambe once again. And FANTASTIC at catering for allergies - this vegan chocolate cake went down an absolute treat for our little boy, and mum might have enjoyed half of it too 👀

Christmas decs are beautiful, staff are fantastic, and the takeaway boxes come with stickers. What’s not to love?

How on earth have we found ourselves in November already?!

Thank you to everyone who has made 2025 even more special than 2024! Over 200 nights booked out this year, and we topped 100 reviews on Airbnb 🎉

It’s time for us to put our feet up for winter and enjoy some cosy family time.

Well, sorry - I’m just taking a little moment to pat ourselves on the back.

We’re closing in on 100 reviews on Airbnb and honestly just feeling really proud of what we’ve built at the Balmoral Coach House.

To consistently show up for our guests while juggling full-time jobs, parenting, and trying to have some kind of social life takes a LOT. But we really do care about everybody who stays with us, and reading through these recent reviews is a reminder that it shows.

Massive thank you to everyone who takes the time to leave such thoughtful words. I don’t always manage to read them the day they land, but when I see them all together like this it makes my heart glow 🖤

Hi, we’re still alive x

we’ve been so flat-out busy turning the house around for guests (and throwing the odd surprise 30th (for me)…) that social media has taken a little back seat.

but the Balmoral Coach House is still here, still cosy, still very much in demand – and we’re SO grateful. thank you for keeping us booked and buzzing.

yes, we’ve had a few chaotic visitors which dulled my sparkle a bit, but actually you lot have just been dreams. hundreds of good eggs and only a couple of scrambled ones 🥚💫

we’ve got a busy summer ahead but still some gaps – if you’re planning a trip to morecambe or know someone who is (wedding guests? escape-from-the-cityers? families who want to walk on the beach and eat ice cream every day?) send them our way.
