Recently updated and refurnished including a new log burner Hilltop is a very cosy, relaxing and well equipped cottage. It is ideal as a base for walking nearby or for exploring all that Northumberland has to offer. Walks start from the cottage doorstep with a very scenic 2 mile walk to the popular village of Rothbury over stunning moorland, or along the banks of the River Coquet. Also nearby is t

he village of Thropton, which has 2 pubs both serving food. Thropton’s central location in Northumberland means that many visitor attractions are within a short drive of this lovely Northumbrian self-catering cottage.
