The Three Wheat Heads is a charming three hundred year old Northumbrian country pub in the attractive village of Thropton, just two miles from Rothbury and twelve miles from Alnwick in Northumberland. Our traditional North East country pub is set amongst breathtaking views overlooking the Simonside Hills and provides bed and breakfast accommodation with luxury bedrooms. Each room has been beautifu

lly furnished to retain its traditional character whilst being complimented with modern facilities and personal touches to make each guest welcome. The Three Wheat Heads also has an established fine dining restaurant (mentioned in many food and drink guides) and was voted winner of The Best Sunday Lunch competition for 2007/08, run by The Northumberland Gazette. Our restaurant prides itself on serving freshly cooked, locally sourced food from the Coquet Valley area and is popular with tourists and local residents alike.
