🌿 Shaun and the team are busy preparing the grounds and gardens, clearing foliage to open up the natural spaces around the Hall and planting for the season ahead ~ it’s looking lovely.

Meanwhile Mother Nature has worked her magic in the surrounding woodland with carpets of wild garlic and bursts of bluebells emerging after the long winter.

Work continues at pace to bring our vision to life and we can’t wait to share it with you this summer.

The team at Wildhive Eshott Hall have been busy clearing all the rooms, ahead of interior designer Matt’s team creating the new individually designed bedrooms and spaces – we can’t wait!

The contents throughout the house has been carefully considered for reuse or repurposing. The remainder of the furniture and contents has been collected by local charity

Orange Box North East transforms lives by giving new purpose to unwanted furniture and household items. They bring vital support to families in need, provide free collections, and empower local residents with skills and hope through meaningful volunteering opportunities. It’s more than furniture—it’s community, care, and a fresh start. As a Community Interest Company, they operate on a not-for-profit basis. Locally based, and locally managed, all of the services, resources and finances remain in the North East!

We’re so pleased to share that Eshott Hall is becoming part of the Wildhive family and will reopen in June 2026 – reservations are now officially open!

Over the winter, we’ll be giving the house and grounds a gentle refresh, keeping everything you love, while adding a few thoughtful touches to make it feel even more special.

When we reopen in June, you’ll find the same familiar faces, the same warm welcome, and the same Eshott spirit – simply with a Wildhive touch.

Set within 37 acres of gardens and woodland in beautiful Northumberland you will discover relaxing spaces to spend time with friends and family, newly designed spaces by Matt Hulme (Dynargh Design), boutique woodland cabins, and a light and airy Garden Room restaurant & bar leading to a terrace overlooking the walled kitchen garden.

Wildhive Eshott Hall will offer natural wellbeing at the Coach House, restored walking trails, and peaceful corners to unwind… the transformed Eshott Hall will be a place to slow down, reconnect, and explore everything Northumberland has to offer.

With golden light warming the honey coloured stone of this beautiful Georgian country house and filtering through the mature trees, autumn is a wonderful time to stay and enjoy our extensive gardens and woodlands.

The kitchen garden is still providing plenty of produce for our seasonal menu with an abundance of apples, pears, plums, leafy greens and root vegetables, and a celebration of local produce. 🍐
