A slice of East Cottage taken by a guest when they were staying here. Lord Armstrong of Cragside built these cottages to house his Horseman and Herdsman on Cragend Farm in the 1880s and they each had their own wash pot and netty. The height of modernity. Today we offer comfortable self catering accommodation with some original features, with a log burner for cosy evenings looking out on amazing views. Credit to Rich for the photo.

With family staying all over The Cragend Estate we were full to the brilliant with family and dogs with three labradors as well!

A new edition to our Rogues Gallery as we add Pancake, the Corgi from Scotland to our website Blog!

He visited with his owners for a family Birthday Celebration during the August Bank Holiday and they all had a great time, with the children having space to play, BBQs, walks and lots of sight seeing in Northumberland.
