Optimising local produce in the new breakfast menu:
Breakfast Menu
A selection of fruit juice (apple, orange), fresh fruit bowl, grapefruit, compote of fruit, yoghurts, cereals (gluten-free available), homemade muesli and local Northumberland cheeses are available on the buffet.
Traditional Northumberland Breakfast
(Back bacon, local Rothbury sausage, black pudding, tomato, mushrooms, free range eggs & hash brown or potato cake)
Vegetarian Breakfast
(Vegetarian sausage, beans, tomato, mushrooms, potato cake, free range eggs)
Local Craster Kippers
(Served with wholemeal bread and butter)
Delicious Smoked Haddock
(Gently poached and topped with a free range poached egg)
Smoked Salmon and Creamy Scrambled Eggs
(Free range scrambled eggs made with a touch of cream, mouth watering Craster Oak Smoked Salmon, served on an English toasted muffin or bagel)
Local Crab and Chive Omelette
(Free range eggs and crab from Craster or Amble, with chives from our herb garden)
Continental Breakfast
(Croissant or bagel, selection of local cheese & ham)
Black Rory Porridge
(Porridge made to your liking with oats from Heatherslaw, with a drizzle of local honey and Black Rory Whisky)
Pancakes with hot berries (and homemade chocolate sauce for the chocoholics!)
*A selection of teas (Ringtons), including herbal and fruit teas, coffee (Ringtons). Decaffeinated coffee and luxury hot chocolate also available.
*Good quality bread (homemade or local bakery) will be available; wholemeal and crusty white.
*Preserves are homemade and the honey is from local hives.
All products are local or from within the Northumberland region whenever possible.
