💬 “We loved this lodge! We go away to a lodge at least yearly for a weekend, sometimes more, and this is one of the best we’ve stayed in. Absolutely immaculate, fully stocked kitchen – they provide all cleaning things so that you use eco products only. Modern fixtures and fittings. Smart TV with Netflix etc. We had a slight hiccup with some jets on the hot tub. The host replied almost instantly and had it fixed very quickly – very responsive. Hot tub good size. Lovely park with some beautiful places to eat very close – favourites were Cook and Barker and The Running Fox. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you for a lovely weekend.”

Nice little village close by with two pubs offering great food and good cheer, a great local shop that stocks all sorts, a local butcher, a great café, an artisan bakery and beautiful countryside. The lodge is excellent and Paul is a great host and very responsive if needed. A lovely place to spend a few days with loads to explore within a short car journey.”
