Acorn Leisure Holidays, established in 2015 are the owners of Woodys Lodge, Stag Lodge and Woodys Retreat. The Lodges and Holiday Home come with their very own private Hot Tub which is sunken into the terrace area. We are located on Felmoor Park, just outside of Morpeth and ideally placed for exploring Northumberland. We also accept well behaved dogs (up to two or three depending on size) at no ad

ditional cost. Woody's Lodge and Stag Lodge are sited opposite each other in a quiet area of the country park. They each have their own wrap around terrace and are perfect for those that are looking to book properties for the bigger party bookings. We provide a home from home stay with additional luxury items such as your own spa robe to use for the hot tub and a welcome basket. We also have SKY with Sports, so the ladies can hot tub and the men can get their sports fix :)

Its a great central location to explore the many hidden gems of Northumberland.

After a busy summer period, it was time to have a little catch up over lunch.

We went to Little Italy in Rothbury, it’s a small restaurant with limited seating but does an extensive take out menu too.

We enjoyed, the flat bread with tomato and mozzarella to share as starters - unreal!

For mains, I went with the penne al vodka and Wayne opted for the meat feast pizza. Added a side dish because they sounded amazing and they were! Beautifully seasoned potato’s with Parmesan and mayo dip.

Homemade lemon tart was equally delicious!

It’s located in Rothbury, just 15 minutes drive from the park.

Enjoy a trip to Cragside, hike up Simonside or have a meander along the river followed by a delicious meal.
