I have never seen the Rhododendrons at Cragside looking as good as they are this year, and we avoided the rain !

As many of you know Sarah’s Cottage ceased to trade as a holiday let at the end of last year.
It is now sold to a lovely family who have already enjoyed their first few weeks there, and we have moved into a fabulous little house near Alnwick.
I shall be shutting down this page shortly, but not until the last year’s Air Ambulance tin has been counted and I have let you know how much we all, and especially the chickens and ducks raised!

As we are now officially retired I will continue to post our Northumberland days out on my own page, if you would like to continue to follow ( Sarah Manson)
And of course, if you are visiting Northumberland do give us a shout and meet for coffee. I also have some information on other available cottage’s so if you are struggling to find something, I may be able to point you in the right direction.

You can just make out Warkworth castle in the mist.
We often walk past the Fish Shack, and decided that today was the day for trying it out, excellent decision 😊

It’s so wild out there, that all the horses have been left in today……Topsy is too little to see over the stable door so she is allowed to free range within the stables !!
