If you're a fan of walking, north Devon really does have something rather special to offer at this time of year. 🌸

The flowers are blooming and the South West Coast Path is looking glorious. One of our favourite springtime walks takes you through the wooded Kinevor Valley, towards Bennett's Mouth, a wild hidden cove where you can sit, breathe and feel a million miles from everyday life.

There's also a walk around the cliffs to Morte Point, a windswept headland where seals regularly bask on the rocks and the views out to sea are about as good as it gets 🦭

Last minute availability - early May bank holiday.

We have a last minute break available at The Long Linhay (week of 2nd–9th May), which takes in the early May Bank Holiday on Monday 5th - perfect if you fancy a long weekend escape to north Devon.

Whether you're looking for a full week or just a few nights over the bank holiday, we'd love to have you. The countryside is looking beautiful right now, the coast path is calling and there's nothing quite like waking up in Devon on a sunny spring morning. ☀️

If you're in the area on 4th April, this looks really interesting. Woolacombe Beach is on our doorstep and we think this free exhibition sounds absolutely brilliant. Worth popping in if you get the chance!

We hope you can join us at Mortehoe Village Hall on Saturday 4th April for our exhibition about Woolacombe Beach from its use as a family friendly beach though the decades to images of its time being used as a training ground during WW2
