A lovely little bank holiday 🎷

Lots of heat, lots of food, and plenty of drinks in the sun. How a bank holiday should be spent when we’re blessed with some long-awaited sunshine.

Thank you for all your patience on the extra hot days, we’re always working hard to make sure all of our visitors can make the most of the heatwave!

We appreciate all the new faces discovering our little corner of Nailsworth, and all of our returning customers introducing Egypt Mill to their family and friends 💚

Sometimes it’s easy to forget how lucky we’ve got it 🌳

We get so caught up in the rush of our everyday lives and never-ending tasks that we forget we’re living in a place that people dream of.

This time of year is always special, the full greenery returns, and we watch our town and the valley bloom. You could say we’ve all won the postcode lottery if you live nearby 💚

The best time to catch these views is always the morning; don’t sleep in and miss your sunlight fix.

Join us this Saturday 4th April for our annual Spring Fête 🪺

From 11am we will be hosting all the Easter themed family fun, from a bouncy castle, crafts, face painting, an easter egg hunt, plus some wonderful craft stalls 👩‍🎨

From 2pm the River Garden will be your place for live music, a BBQ, and all the vibes you need to kick start the spring season 🎸

It’s a great day out for everyone, our new spring menu will be running as usual so you can eat and drink to your hearts galore - Happy Easter!

Easter Sunday will feature a day full of family get-togethers with plenty of our delicious Roasts in tow. Live music from 2pm 🎶

These long awaited, brighter days have reminded of us of all that is wonderful around us. And just on our doorstep too 🥾

The canal path which connects alongside of Egypt Mill is the perfect stroll for the incoming Spring. It’s leisurely, enchanting, and full of noises for the soul. Full of wildlife, and some buildings of our history 🚂

Park with us, grab a takeaway coffee, and head off! Either a 3 mile stretch to Stroud, or just a gentle wander and then back.

Don’t forget to stop off with us for some post-walk fuel after 🍽️

Perfect for a Saturday morning heading off to the Stroud Farmers Market, or just some lunchtime steps.

For those that like a challenge, there is the steep climb through the woods through Watledge to get to the common.
