Now that the kids are back to school and I have time to think in peace I thought it about time I post something as the cottage updates have been neglected!

It’s been a busy summer in Nairn with the Farmers show, the bright lights of the showies, Games day, searching for an invisible solar eclipse, dolphin watching from the beach and daily ice creams at the park.

A whole year has passed since we got the keys to Bluebell Cottage and 8 months since we have been operating as a holiday let. We’ve been so fortunate to have been kept busy ever since with our summer months all fully booked. If you have stayed with us already or are checking in soon, thank you for visiting us and for spreading the word about our wee cottage. It’s been a pleasure to have read so many wonderful reviews and hear all about your travels around the local area 💕

We are lucky to have many bookings in the calendar for 2027 already with the summer season filling up fast. So if you are planning a trip to Nairn whether it’s for a cosy break in Autumn by the Fire or a family trip to the seaside in the sunshine then now is the time to book.

We now have some outdoor furniture at the cottage. Perfect for relaxing in the sunshine with a bottle of rosé or a cold b**r after a walk at the beach. The patio seems to have its own micro climate and is a great wee sun trap ☀️🍾🍺
