It is with a heavy heart that we said goodbye today to the last guests and friends of Lovat Lodge Hotel. The hotel is now permanently closed. We were joined by a number of staff past and present for our final show night and to have a send off in the true spirit of Lovat Lodge.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us through the years.

As our last song said “We'll meet again, Don't know where, Don't know when, But I know we'll meet again some sunny day”

Thank you to all our lovely supporters in Nairn - so far as one of the nominated charities for the CO-OP this year we have received a fabulous £1722.40. Thank you all - your support as always is very much appreciated.

Our 50th Golden Anniversary Calendar for 2018 has arrived! It looks fantastic with lovely pictures of the surrounding area and an absolute bargain at £6 each or two for £10. If you want one you had better be quick - we have a limited print and when they are gone, they are gone!

Gavin Cooper (who has had close relatives stay with us many times) is taking part in the Castle Triathlon Series in Chantilly France at the end of August to raise funds for Lovat Lodge.
Our fundraising goes international! He will be doing an 800M swim, followed by a 40K cycle and then a 8K run - Phew! Please show your support for Gavin and

The weather here in Nairn has been glorious this week with the beach and seafront packed - limited availability but still time for a Summer Sizzler break before the end of August if you are quick! Come and join us in sunny Nairn - we would love to see you !

Room 6 has the WOW factor! Many of you will remember the delightful room 6 with it's tardis like bathroom - well thanks to the generosity of our lovely guests we have refurbished room 6 and it now has a beautiful wetroom. I am sure it will become a firm favourite. We cannot thank enough our guests who have donated, raised money with raffles etc to enable us to do this. You truly are amazing - just like our new room! Room 5 next!
