The oak staircase at Rookery Hall is a wonderful example of the craftsmanship found throughout this historic Cheshire country house.
Built in 1816 for William Hilton Cooke, the property was originally known as The Rookery, Worleston. Its elegant reception rooms and beautifully proportioned interiors reflected the character of a substantial private country estate.
Today, the staircase remains one of the house's most memorable features, with its carved timber balustrade and sweeping form adding to the sense of history.
From the staircase to the original wood panelling in the Sitting Room, there is much to appreciate about the details preserved within Rookery Hall.
