The barn at Waunlippa is a welcoming and cozy barn conversion, adjacent to our home on our quiet smallholding in the quaint hamlet of Llanmill just 2 miles from the popular boutique town of Narberth. A perfect romantic retreat for couples looking to cosy up and relax in lovely surroundings, enjoy the romantic seating areas around the grounds but just a short drive from a variety of lovely places t

o eat and the fabulous beaches of South Wales. Orsola Muscia (The Tailor Made Chef) is a professional Italian chef and able to offer high cuisine and breakfasts for guests using locally sourced produce and cookery classes are also available. The barn has an open plan living area, character features mixed with modern comfort with a well equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy seating with a beautiful wood burning stove. Outside, you can relax in the tucked away seclusion of your private courtyard and enjoy the luxurious hot tub or wander around the garden, sit a while by the stream which runs the length of the grounds or enjoy a picnic and watch the wildlife. some Escallonia, we then finally got the paving finished .
We bought the stone last October as the rain came and then the frost.
Then there weren't enough gaps in our bookings in the spring (which we're grateful for!) to get them down. A four day gap with good weather this September was the chance!

We've done so much in the garden but it's sometimes hard to remember what!
Some of it is just nature doing its thing but we've also planted trees, hedges, taken down old fences and generally tried to nurture a kind of manageable but natural look 🙂
