February update – Brick House Cheriton B&B

Still Locked Down – Hopeful we can reopen soon!

Like most people, we’re staying safely locked down at The Brick House and in so doing, hopefully saving lives and helping the NHS. We’re still unclear when the lockdown will end and what we’ll be able to do when it does. Will we be back to Tier 4 – 3 – 2 or 1 and most importantly when can we reopen our Bed & Breakfast business and welcome guests once again? With the likelihood of restrictions on foreign travel remaining well into the year, either those imposed by the UK or destination countries, it looks as though this will be the year of the “staycation”. So, we’re making preparations and taking reservations for what will hopefully be a busy spring and summer season.
Throughout the period we were able to open last year, we welcomed many guests for COVID safe stays, following all guidelines and regulations from government. We also operated a no fuss, no quibble and no deposit approach to reservations. We plan to follow the same approach this year. In so doing, we want to give potential guests, currently planning staycation trips to the beautiful South Downs, the confidence to book now, in the knowledge that we’ll do everything we can to make your stay with us safe.
