Watched some of the World Cup final , but was more excited watching the world athletics championships.
The lionesses lost but all credit for getting to the final and playing with heart .
There are calls this morning on itv television for them to be honoured.
A more fitting honour would be to acknowledge someone who IS a world champion , our very own Katherine Johnson Thompson who won her second world title heptathlon gold in a thrilling competition .
