According to Sykes Holiday Cottages there are 3 features of holiday lets that are searched for more than any other. The top 3 might surprise you!

1️⃣ Hot Tub - A hot tub can add 20-40% to you booking value. An absolute must if you have the space to put one in. We always look for properties with good hot tub space for this reason.

2️⃣ Wifi - Yes really! It's an essential part of a modern holiday let/SA unit. Get the fastest WIFI you possibly can for your units and ADVERTISE it. Do a speed test, showcase the results on your website/OTA advert and see the benefit of this approach.

3️⃣ Proximity to a pub - But not too close! Having a pub next door to your property actually reduces the options for lending. However, an ideal holiday let is walking distance to a pub. People look for a good location when deciding to book. Again if this is the case then showcase this as part of your listing! Take a google map screenshot of the closest pub (ideally a few minutes walk) and add it to your listing photos or title.

The Peak District is truly stunning when the weather is like this. Often in our busy lives we can forget to take the time to be grateful for what we have and become distracted by the negatives. 🙏

I take a little time every day to be thankful for what I have. Especially at this time of year when so many people may be going through a difficult time. 😢

This is a great exercise to create a positive mindset no matter what your circumstances.
